Capernaum

Capernaum is mentioned over 50 times in the New Testament, making it the most-cited location after Jerusalem.

(Hebrew: Kfar Nahum , meaning "Village of Nahum") was an ancient fishing village on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. It is best known as the primary center of Jesus’ public ministry in Galilee, often referred to in the Gospels as "his own city". Established around the 2nd century BC, the town thrived as a trade hub located on the Via Maris .
