Capitani is a Luxembourgish crime drama series that, following its successful first season, gained significant international popularity, becoming available in 190 countries. It centers on inspector Luc Capitani, a tough, unconventional police officer from the south of Luxembourg who investigates a murder in the rural northern village of Manscheid (Mënscht).
The second season shifts focus to the underworld in the capital city, featuring Capitani as he attempts to navigate a new set of challenges and secrets.
An outsider, portrayed as a "murderer" or someone who has been in prison (used as a cover to infiltrate the underworld in later seasons).
Capitani is known for its authentic portrayal of the northern Luxembourg landscape and culture.
A young local police officer who assists Capitani and acts as his guide through the complex social web of the village.
