Two thousand years ago, an evil alien warlord named nearly destroyed Earth. He was accompanied by his monstrous servant, Ōzaru , a creature that thrives during eclipses. Seven powerful sorcerers eventually defeated Piccolo and imprisoned him using a mystical technique called the Mafuba , sealing him away while creating seven Dragon Balls to keep him banished.
