He graduated from the Yeysk Higher Military Aviation Institute . During the defense of Leningrad, Aliyev served as a fighter pilot.

He died on July 18, 1941, from shell wounds sustained during combat over Leningrad. His legacy is preserved through monuments and streets named in his honor in Azerbaijan, symbolizing the contribution of Azerbaijanis to the victory over fascism. Huseynbala Miralamov (Born 1945)

was an Azerbaijani aviator and a celebrated hero of World War II . Born in the village of Pirshagi near Baku, he became one of the first Azerbaijani pilots to achieve distinction during the early days of the conflict.

He holds a doctorate in technical sciences and served as the head of the "Oil and Gas Transportation and Storage" department at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University .
