InuYasha Episode 119, "Divine Malice of the Saint," features the confrontation with Saint Hakushin, a holy man whose lingering resentment of death created the pure barrier protecting Mount Hakurei. Kikyo helps Hakushin find peace, causing the barrier to fall and setting the stage for a final showdown with the Shichinin-tai.
