The CDCA/ADEX all-ceramic anterior crown prep (typically tooth #9) requires 1.5–2.0 mm of incisal reduction, a 1.0 mm rounded shoulder margin, and a total taper of 6–10 degrees. Proper technique includes two-plane facial reduction and verification using putty indices to avoid critical deficiencies, such as excessive taper or inadequate margin reduction.
