The episode opens with the grisly discovery of a wealthy, politically connected couple murdered in their bedroom. Initially, detectives Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler suspect a sex crime due to staged overtones, but they soon find themselves entangled in a web of financial fraud and family betrayal.
