Just finished and my brain is officialy spiraling. If you’re looking for a psychological horror that blends Greek mythology with Lovecraftian dread, this is it. Vibe: Dark romance meets surreal nightmare. Warning: It gets weird (and grotesque) fast. Pro Tip: Don't forget to pet the cat... if you dare. 🐾 Available for free on Steam and itch.io .
#SeleneApoptosis #VisualNovel #PsychologicalHorror #IndieGames #HorrorGames 🎭 For Reddit (r/visualnovels or r/horrorgaming) Discussion and Curiosity
I just went through all 6 endings of and I am thoroughly unsettled. It starts as a simple "mysterious girl at the door" story but quickly descends into a David Lynch-style fever dream.
A beautiful stranger at your doorstep... what could go wrong? 🐈⬛🩸
Roughly 1.5 hours for the main story; 3.5 hours for 100% completion. Developer: Nupu Neko Dev . Cost: Free (with optional adult DLC). Key Themes: Madness, trauma, and Greek mythology.
Has anyone else played Selene ~Apoptosis~? I’m still trying to piece the story together.
The mix of biology, mythology (Selene, Hecate, Artemis), and the "trauma onion" layers really caught me off guard. The developer calls it a mystical thriller, but some of those visuals are pure nightmare fuel. Which ending did you get first?
