The two mismatched detectives are forced to team up to hunt down a serial killer known as "The Family Man". The case eventually uncovers a larger conspiracy involving Russian mobsters, chemical weapons, and Jack Cole’s shadowy government past.
Cole is referred to as "The Glimmer Man" because of his legendary stealth during his days as a government operative—he was said to be like a "glimmer" of light that appeared and disappeared before anyone noticed.
