Sparrow's hand twitched. He went for his gun with blinding speed, but Sabata was faster. Sabata's revolver barked twice. The first bullet shattered Sparrow's wrist; the second pierced his chest.

Sabata managed to track the bounty hunter to an abandoned, sun-bleached mission. Sparrow stood in the center of the courtyard, laughing maniacally at the perfect web of death he had spun.
